The Hobby Boss 1/35 US GMC CCKW 352 Wood Cargo Truck (83832) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the American Second World War GMC CCKW 352, the short wheelbase two and a half ton cargo truck, here with a wooden cargo body.

Built in huge numbers, the Deuce and a Half was the backbone of US Army logistics, keeping supply routes such as the Red Ball Express moving across France in 1944. GMC and other manufacturers produced more than half a million of these trucks during the war. Wooden cargo bodies were introduced to save steel, and the six wheel drive layout gave the truck good off road performance. Postwar, CCKW trucks continued to serve in many armies around the world for decades.
