Hobby Boss 1/48 Aircraft - Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker Early - 81712

The Hobby Boss 1/48 Su-27 Flanker Early (81712) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the early production Sukhoi Su-27, the Soviet twin engined air superiority fighter of the late Cold War.

With its sweeping lines and twin tails, the Su-27 is one of the great fighter shapes, and this kit captures it as first delivered to Soviet air regiments in the mid 1980s. Designed to counter the F-15 Eagle, the Flanker combined long range, a large missile load and remarkable agility, and it spawned a whole family of later Sukhoi fighters.
