About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/48 Russian MiG-29K (81786) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Mikoyan MiG-29K, a modern carrier based multirole fighter of the Russian and Indian navies.
The MiG-29K adds folding wings, a strengthened undercarriage and an arrester hook to the Fulcrum design, and flies from the Indian Navy's INS Vikramaditya and Russia's Admiral Kuznetsov. Larger wings, increased fuel and an advanced cockpit set the K model apart from earlier Fulcrums. The MiG-29K was first ordered by India before entering Russian naval service, making it one of the most important naval fighters of recent years.
