Hobby Boss 1/48 Military - Russian KV-1 Model 1941 Heavy Tank - 84810

The Hobby Boss 1/48 Russian KV-1 Model 1941 (84810) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank in its 1941 small turret form, as used against the German invasion.

Named after defence commissar Kliment Voroshilov, the KV-1 was so heavily armoured that German anti tank guns of 1941 struggled to stop it, and this kit captures that formidable early war machine. The 1941 model, sometimes called the small turret version, combined the original welded turret with the long 76mm gun. Its armour and firepower outclassed most German tanks of 1941, although transmission problems and its weight limited its effectiveness. No crew figures are included, so this kit pairs well with separately sold 1/48 tank crew sets.
