About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/16 Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf.E/F (82603) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Czech designed Panzer 38(t) Ausf.E/F light tank used by the German army in the Second World War. It includes a full interior with engine and transmission.
Built by ČKD as the LT vz.38 and taken into German service after the occupation of Czechoslovakia, the 38(t) was reliable and well made. The Ausf.E and F added extra frontal armour and fought in France in 1940 and in the invasion of the Soviet Union. Panzer divisions including the 7th and 8th relied heavily on the 38(t) during Operation Barbarossa.
