Hobby Boss 1/48 Aircraft - Mikoyan MiG-31B/BM Foxhound - 81754

The Hobby Boss 1/48 MiG-31B/BM Foxhound (81754) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Mikoyan MiG-31B and modernised MiG-31BM, Russian long range supersonic interceptors.

This kit covers the later versions of Russia's heavyweight interceptor. The MiG-31B brought improved avionics and in flight refuelling, while the BM upgrade introduced modern cockpit displays, an improved radar and the ability to use air to ground weapons, keeping the type in front line service well into the 21st century. Capable of speeds approaching Mach 2.8 and able to share target data across a group of aircraft, the Foxhound remains a key part of Russia's long range air defence, guarding the Arctic and Far East.
