About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/72 FM-1 Wildcat (80221) is a snap fit plastic model kit of the Eastern Aircraft FM-1, the General Motors built version of the Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat US Navy fighter of the Second World War.
The FM-1 was the General Motors built version of Grumman's tubby F4F-4 Wildcat, and this kit offers a quick, enjoyable way to add one to a collection. Built by the Eastern Aircraft Division, FM-1s flew mainly from escort carriers, protecting convoys and supporting landings in the Atlantic and Pacific.
