About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/350 German Type IXB U-Boat (83507) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Kriegsmarine's long range Type IXB attack submarine of the Second World War.
This kit depicts one of the Kriegsmarine's long range ocean going submarines. Only fourteen Type IXB boats were built, yet they were among the most successful of the Second World War, with U-123 and U-107 ranging as far as the American coast and West Africa. Larger than the familiar Type VII, the IX series carried more fuel and torpedoes for extended patrols.
Key Features
- Injection moulded plastic parts for the hull, conning tower and deck
- Deck gun and anti aircraft armament parts
- Waterslide decals included
- Finished model roughly 22 cm long at 1/350 scale
- A good companion to the other 1/350 Hobby Boss U-boat kits
The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled, so you will need cement, paints and basic modelling tools, which are sold separately.
