About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 German SPG Crew Vol.2 (84407) is an injection moulded plastic figure set of German Second World War self propelled gun crewmen, following on from Vol.1 (84402).
Crews of vehicles such as the Hummel, Nashorn and Marder worked in open fighting compartments, so their figures are on show and repay careful painting. German self propelled artillery and tank destroyer crews wore a mix of field grey service dress, specialist wrap jackets and camouflage clothing, which gives the painter plenty of variety. Figures in these vehicles are particularly visible because open topped fighting compartments leave the crew exposed. Combining both volumes gives a fuller crew for larger vehicles such as the Hummel or Nashorn.
