About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 German Self Propelled Gun Crew (84402) is an injection moulded plastic figure set of German Second World War crewmen for self propelled guns and tank destroyers.
German assault gun, tank destroyer and artillery units relied on open topped and casemate vehicles, and their exposed crews make a model look far more alive. Self propelled guns were vital to German artillery and anti tank units from 1942 onwards, and vehicles such as the Marder, Wespe and Hummel carried their crews in open fighting compartments. Figures placed at work inside or beside these vehicles add a strong sense of scale and story, whether loading ammunition, scanning the horizon or receiving orders. They also make a useful painting exercise in field grey and camouflage clothing.
