Hobby Boss 1/48 Military - German Pz.Kpfw. KV-1 756(r) Captured Tank - 84818

The Hobby Boss 1/48 German Pz.Kpfw KV-1 756(r) (84818) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of a Soviet KV-1 heavy tank captured and operated by the German Army during the Second World War.

The thickly armoured KV-1 shocked German troops in 1941, and captured examples were taken into service under the designation Pz.Kpfw. KV-1 756(r), the (r) marking Russian origin. German units valued captured KV tanks for their heavy armour, and some were rebuilt with German equipment such as a new commander's cupola. Captured vehicles in German markings make an unusual and eye catching display piece, and the compact 1/48 scale suits small dioramas.
