Hobby Boss 1/72 Military - German Panzerträgerwagen - 82936

The Hobby Boss 1/72 German Panzerträgerwagen (82936) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of a Second World War German tank carrier wagon from the Wehrmacht's standardised armoured trains. It joins Hobby Boss's growing 1/72 armoured train range.

Coupled at the ends of BP 42 and BP 44 trains, these low flat cars carried a light tank that could be driven off by ramps to fight away from the track, an answer to partisan attacks on long supply lines in the East. Each standardised train combined artillery wagons, anti aircraft cars, a command car and tank carriers, all protected by armour plate. Building several Hobby Boss wagons together lets you recreate a realistic section of an armoured train on a length of track, an eye catching centrepiece for any WWII collection.
