About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/72 German Panzerjägerwagen Vol.2 (82955) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the German Second World War turreted anti tank wagon from the BP 44 armoured train. This version adds turret skirt armour, a forward clearing blade and a modular rail base.
Only the turret came from the Panzer IV; the angular armoured body was purpose built for the train, which usually ran with the clearing blade facing forward. The BP 44 represented the last stage of German armoured train design and saw service on the Eastern Front and in the Balkans. One reviewer completed this kit in roughly two to three hours, reporting excellent fit and little clean up, making it an accessible introduction to the Hobby Boss armoured train range.
