Hobby Boss 1/48 Military - German Panzer IV Ausf.J Medium Tank - 84842

The Hobby Boss 1/48 German Pzkpfw IV Ausf.J Medium Tank (84842) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Panzer IV Ausf.J, the final production version of Germany's Second World War medium tank.

Built from 1944, the Ausf.J was simplified to speed up production, losing the powered turret traverse motor, and it served until the end of the war on every front. The Panzer IV was the only German tank to remain in production throughout the war, with around 8,500 built across all versions. Late J models often featured wire mesh side skirts and simplified return rollers, and the type makes a natural pair with earlier Panzer IV models in a collection.
