About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 German Panzer Grenadiers Vol.1 (84404) is an injection moulded plastic figure set of German Second World War Panzergrenadiers, the mechanised infantry of the panzer divisions.
Panzergrenadiers rode into battle in halftracks and trucks, dismounting to clear positions the tanks could not reach, and formed the backbone of German armoured formations from 1942. Their training emphasised speed and close cooperation with tanks, and by the later war years Panzergrenadier divisions were among the strongest formations in the German army. Units were equipped with Sd.Kfz.251 halftracks where available, though many rode in trucks. Figures like these work particularly well riding in or dismounting from a 1/35 halftrack, adding life and a sense of scale to a WWII diorama or vignette.
