About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 German Infantry Set Vol.1 (Early) (84413) is an injection moulded plastic figure set of German Wehrmacht infantry in early Second World War uniform and equipment.
From Poland in 1939 through France in 1940 and the opening months in the Soviet Union, the German infantryman wore field grey with early pattern equipment before later simplifications. Early war German infantry carried the Kar98k rifle, gas mask canister, mess tin and entrenching tool, with the classic jackboots and dark green collar on the field blouse. Their appearance changed as the war progressed and uniforms were simplified to save materials. These figures suit dioramas of Poland, France and the Low Countries, or Operation Barbarossa in the summer of 1941.
