About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/18 Focke Wulf Fw 190A-8 (81803) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Focke Wulf Fw 190A-8, the most widely built version of the German Luftwaffe's radial engined fighter of the Second World War. At 1/18 it makes a very large display model.
Powered by a BMW 801 radial, the Fw 190 was rugged, heavily armed and fast rolling, and the A-8 of 1944 was a mainstay against the Allied bomber offensive. The A-8 introduced additional internal fuel and heavier armament, and it equipped many Luftwaffe fighter wings defending Germany from day bomber raids. At 1/18 scale the finished model is large enough to show off every detail of the engine and cockpit, making it a real statement piece on any shelf.
