Hobby Boss 1/72 Aircraft - F-14A Tomcat VF-1 Wolfpack - 80279

The Hobby Boss 1/72 F-14A Tomcat VF-1 "Wolf Pack" (80279) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Grumman F-14A Tomcat, the US Navy's Cold War swing wing fleet defence fighter, in the colours of fighter squadron VF-1. It builds into an eye catching 1/72 model.

VF-1 Wolfpack and VF-2 were the first squadrons to take the Tomcat to sea, deploying aboard USS Enterprise in 1974 and flying cover for the evacuation of Saigon in 1975. Armed with the long range Phoenix missile, the F-14 guarded carrier groups until 2006. The Tomcat later achieved lasting fame through the film Top Gun, and it remains one of the most recognisable jet fighters ever built.

Key Features
