About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 DPRK Pukguksong-2 (84544) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the North Korean Pukguksong-2, a modern solid fuel ballistic missile carried on a tracked launch vehicle.
First tested in 2017, the Pukguksong-2 was developed from a submarine launched design, and its tracked launcher allows it to move and fire quickly. It has featured prominently in military parades. Using solid fuel allows a missile to be stored ready to fire, reducing the preparation time needed before launch compared with liquid fuelled designs. The Pukguksong-2 is launched from a canister carried on its tracked vehicle, giving it mobility off paved roads. It makes an imposing centrepiece for a collection of modern military vehicles and a real talking point on any display shelf.
