Hobby Boss 1/32 Aircraft - Douglas A-26B Invader - 83213

The Hobby Boss 1/32 Douglas A-26B Invader (83213) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the American Douglas A-26B Invader, the solid nosed twin engined attack bomber of the Second World War and Korea. Three finishing options are included.

Twin Pratt and Whitney radials gave the Invader impressive speed, while the B model packed heavy machine guns in its nose. French and American crews flew it for decades. Invaders flew in the final months of WWII and some of the first bombing missions of the Korean War. Later versions served in Vietnam and with the CIA, and the type was also used as a firefighting aircraft. Its sleek twin engined lines make it one of the most attractive aircraft of the period.
