Hobby Boss 1/144 Aircraft - Chinese Y-9 Transport Aircraft - 83906

The Hobby Boss 1/144 Chinese Y-9 (83906) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Shaanxi Y-9, a modern Chinese four engine turboprop medium transport aircraft. It includes a detailed cargo hold, loading ramp and flight deck.

A stretched and modernised development of the Y-8, the Y-9 introduced a glass cockpit and six bladed JL-4 propellers, and it serves as the basis for many Chinese special mission aircraft. Its rear loading ramp allows vehicles and cargo pallets to be loaded quickly, and its larger, more modern airframe has made it the preferred basis for new Chinese special mission variants.
