About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/72 DF-41 ICBM (82963) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Chinese DF-41 road mobile intercontinental ballistic missile and its sixteen wheeled transporter erector launcher. A working mechanism lets the missile be raised and lowered.
Publicly unveiled at the 2019 National Day parade in Beijing, the solid fuel DF-41 is a centrepiece of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force. The DF-41 is believed to carry multiple independently targeted warheads and has an intercontinental range, making it a central part of China's strategic deterrent. Its giant sixteen wheeled launcher is among the largest military vehicles on the road, and reviewers praised both the decal sheet and the stable lifting mechanism of this 2024 kit.
