About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 LKW 7t mil gl (85522) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the German Bundeswehr's MAN 7 tonne high mobility cargo truck, a Cold War era military lorry.
The "gl" stands for geländegängig, meaning cross country capable. These MAN trucks formed the backbone of German army transport from the 1970s onward. Thousands of these 6x6 trucks were built, and their combination of a cab over engine layout with excellent off road performance made them a familiar sight on exercises across Europe. The open cargo body offers plenty of room for stowage, crew figures and loads in a diorama.
