About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 LKW 7t Dump Truck (85520) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the German Bundeswehr's MAN 7 tonne military tipper truck, used by engineer units from the Cold War onward.
Built on the MAN high mobility 7 tonne chassis, the dump truck carried earth and aggregate for road building, fortification and repair work. The MAN high mobility truck family was introduced to the Bundeswehr from the 1970s and became known for its toughness and excellent cross country performance. The tipper version worked alongside bulldozers and excavators on engineering tasks, and it would look at home in a construction or field engineering diorama.
