About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/35 LKW 10t mil gl (85528) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the German Bundeswehr's MAN 10 tonne 8x8 high mobility military truck, shown with a bed mounted loading crane.
The largest of the first generation MAN cross country trucks, the 10 tonne 8x8 carried heavy loads for supply and engineer units well away from paved roads. Its four axles spread the load of up to ten tonnes and gave it good mobility on soft ground, and the onboard crane let crews load and unload pallets and equipment without extra handling gear. The vehicle sits well beside the 7 tonne MAN trucks from the same family.
