About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/72 2S19-M2 Self Propelled Howitzer (82928) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Russian 2S19-M2 Msta-S, a modern tracked 152mm self propelled howitzer. It is a compact way to model current Russian artillery.
The original 2S19 Msta-S entered Soviet service in 1989, built on a hull drawing on the T-72 and T-80. The M2 upgrade introduced in the 2010s added an automated fire control system and a higher rate of fire. The Msta-S is operated by Russia and several other countries, and it has seen extensive combat use, including in Ukraine.
