About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/72 15U175 Launcher for the Topol-M ICBM (82952) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Russian road mobile launcher for the RS-12M1 Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missile. The sixteen wheeled vehicle carries a single sealed launch tube.
Mobile Topol-M units entered service in the 2000s and regularly feature in Victory Day parades in Moscow. Topol-M was the first ICBM developed entirely in post Soviet Russia, and its road mobile launchers can move through forests to avoid detection. The massive launcher vehicle dwarfs most other military trucks, making this one of the most imposing models in the Hobby Boss 1/72 range. A published review recorded around 21 hours of build time.
