About this kit
The REDOUTABLE (S 611) was the first French nuclear submarine, launched in 1967 and commissioned in 1971. This 1/400 scale plastic model kit from Heller features a hull designed for depths of over 200m and represents the vessel that is now the largest publicly exhibited museum submarine in the world. The kit captures the intricate details of the historic submarine, which was powered by a pressurized water reactor and armed with 16 missiles and 4 torpedo tubes.
