The T-34/85 was the definitive up-gunned version of the Soviet Union's legendary T-34, fitted with an 85mm ZiS-S-53 gun and a new three-man turret that finally matched the tank's famously sloped, well-protected hull to a weapon capable of taking on late-war German armour. This kit depicts one of the T-34/85s supplied to the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, which fought alongside North Korean forces against United Nations troops in the Korean War of 1950-53, often finished in winter whitewash or dark green Soviet-pattern paint with Chinese unit markings.

Dragon reproduces the T-34/85's distinctive cast turret and hull nose with slide-moulded accuracy, capturing the vehicle's famously simple, rugged Christie-derived suspension and drivetrain in fine detail.
