About this kit
The Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle is a wheeled, mine-resistant armoured vehicle developed by Thales Australia for the Australian Defence Force, entering service in the early 2000s. Its distinctive monocoque V-shaped hull is designed to deflect blast from landmines and IEDs, and the vehicle has seen extensive operational use transporting troops safely through Australian deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The four-wheel-drive Bushmaster carries up to ten personnel in addition to the driver and commander, and has been built in numerous role-specific variants including troop carrier, command, ambulance, mortar and direct-fire support vehicles, making it one of the most versatile protected vehicles fielded by a modern Western army.
Dragon's 1/72 scale kit captures the vehicle's boxy, heavily angled armoured hull, raised driving position and roof-mounted weapon station with crisp, finely moulded detail, along with decals for authentic Australian Army markings.
A distinctive modern subject for collectors wanting to move beyond WWII armour, this compact kit builds into an eye-catching addition to any contemporary military display.
