About this kit
The ZTL-11 (Type 11) is a Chinese 8x8 wheeled assault/fire-support vehicle built on the same running gear as the ZBL-09 family but fitted with a low-profile, stabilised oscillating turret mounting a 105mm rifled gun. Designed to give PLA light and motorised infantry brigades organic anti-armour and bunker-busting firepower without the weight and logistics burden of a full main battle tank, the ZTL-11 blends wheeled mobility and amphibious capability with genuine gun-tank punch.
Dragon's 1/72 kit renders the ZTL-11's distinctive low oscillating turret and long 105mm barrel with a slide-moulded hollow muzzle for a sharp, authentic look, matched to the same well-detailed 8x8 hull and suspension used across the Type 09 family of kits.
The kit includes decals for PLA unit markings and all the parts needed to complete the turret, gun and running gear without additional aftermarket detail.
An excellent choice for collectors interested in China's modern wheeled armoured vehicle programmes and for pairing with Dragon's other Type 09-family kits to build a complete PLA mechanised formation in 1/72.
