The M2A3 Bradley is the digitised, third-generation version of the US Army's infantry fighting vehicle, integrating an improved fire-control system, second-generation FLIR thermal sights and a Force XXI Battle Command network link. BUSK III (Bradley Urban Survival Kit, Phase III) is a field-fit survivability package applied to Bradleys deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, adding slat/cage armour around the hull and turret, belly armour against IEDs, and reinforced crew stations to improve survivability in urban and asymmetric combat.
