The T-34/85 was the mainstay Soviet-supplied medium tank used by North Korean forces and, from late 1950, by the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPVA) after China entered the Korean War. Fitted with an 85mm gun and a three-man turret that finally matched the firepower of contemporary Western tanks, the T-34/85 gave communist forces a credible armoured punch during the early, fast-moving phases of the conflict before UN air power and better anti-tank weapons blunted its advantage.

Dragon's 1/72 rendition reproduces the T-34/85's instantly recognisable sloped glacis, cast turret with distinctive stepped cupola, and hexagonal-pattern road wheels with crisp, well-defined moulding. Despite the small scale, weld seams, hatch detail and the turret's characteristic dome shape are all cleanly captured.

The kit comes with decals for Chinese Volunteer Army markings, letting builders finish an accurate Korean War-era subject rather than a generic Soviet paint scheme, plus link-and-length or single-piece track runs to speed up assembly.

A must for Korean War armour collectors and anyone building a compact 1/72 diorama of the Chinese intervention alongside Dragon's UN and PVA infantry figures.
