Dragon 1/72 Military - 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.Iii Ausf.L Late Prod - D7645

The Panzer III Ausf.L was an up-gunned and up-armoured evolution of Germany's standard medium tank, fitted with the longer, more powerful 5cm KwK 39 L/60 gun capable of defeating most Allied tanks it faced in 1942. It was distinguished by additional 20mm spaced armour plates bolted to the turret front and gun mantlet, added to counter increasingly effective enemy anti-tank weapons, and saw heavy action on both the Eastern Front and in North Africa.

Dragon's 1/72 kit represents the late production Ausf.L, capturing the distinctive appliqué turret armour, longer gun barrel and revised stowage arrangement in crisply moulded, finely detailed styrene despite the small scale.
