About this kit
The StuG III Ausf.B was one of the earliest production versions of Germany's Sturmgeschütz III assault gun, built on the reliable Panzer III chassis but fitted with a fixed casemate superstructure mounting the short 7.5cm StuK 37 L/24 gun. Assigned to independent assault gun battalions rather than Panzer divisions, it provided direct infantry support during the campaigns in Poland, France, the Balkans and the opening months of Operation Barbarossa.
Dragon's 1/72 kit captures the Ausf.B's low, boxy casemate silhouette and early-pattern running gear with wider tracks than preceding StuG variants, finished with Dragon's Neo Track individual link track system for authentic tread detail and sag in this compact scale.
The kit comes complete with decals for period German markings and clear assembly instructions.
An excellent addition for anyone building an early-war German armour collection or wanting to trace the StuG III's evolution across multiple Dragon 1/72 releases.
