About this kit
The M2A2 ODS (Operation Desert Storm) Bradley is an upgraded standard of the US Army's M2 infantry fighting vehicle, incorporating improvements developed from combat experience in the 1991 Gulf War — including a GPS-based Position Navigation system, improved armour, and a Combat Identification Panel to reduce fratricide risk. Armed with a 25mm M242 Bushmaster chain gun and a twin-tube TOW anti-tank missile launcher, it went on to serve extensively in the 2003 invasion of Iraq and subsequent operations.
Dragon's 1/72 kit renders the Bradley's angular composite armour hull and turret with sharp, accurate panel definition, including the distinctive slat-style stowage baskets and vision-block detailing that define the ODS-standard vehicle.
Construction is a straightforward injection-moulded styrene build finished with a decal sheet for authentic US Army unit markings, making it an accessible modern-armour subject in this scale.
A strong pick for collectors building a modern US mechanised infantry force, or anyone wanting a change of pace from WWII subjects in their 1/72 armour cabinet.
