Dragon 1/72 Military - 1/72 M4A4 Sherman - D7311

The M4A4 was a distinctive production variant of the Sherman medium tank, built around the Chrysler A57 multibank engine — essentially five car engines geared to a single output shaft — which required a lengthened hull compared to other Sherman marks. Relatively few M4A4s served with the US Army; instead the bulk of production was supplied to Britain and Commonwealth forces under Lend-Lease, where it was designated the Sherman V and fought from North Africa through Italy and Normandy.

Dragon's 1/72 rendition captures the M4A4's stretched hull and distinctive raised rear deck grille arrangement with sharply moulded panel lines and suspension detail, translating the same slide-mould precision used in Dragon's larger-scale Sherman kits into this compact format.

The kit is supplied as an injection-moulded styrene build with a decal sheet covering authentic British/Commonwealth or US markings options, letting builders finish the tank in a scheme to match their collection.

Ideal for WWII armour enthusiasts wanting a compact, characterful Sherman variant to sit alongside other 1/72 Allied vehicles, or as a quick, satisfying build for a desert or Normandy display base.
