Dragon 1/72 Military - 1/72 10.5Cm Sturmbaubitze 42 Ausf.G (Upgraded To Neo Track) - D7284

The Sturmhaubitze 42 (StuH 42) took the familiar StuG III Ausf. G casemate hull and re-armed it with a 10.5cm howitzer in place of the usual 7.5cm StuK 40 gun, giving Sturmartillerie assault gun units a dedicated high-explosive weapon for suppressing infantry, bunkers and field fortifications rather than engaging enemy armour.

This release is one of Dragon's tooling updates, noted as "upgraded to Neo Track" - meaning the kit now includes Dragon's newer Neo individual track-link system in place of the older one-piece flexible DS tracks, giving more realistic track sag and link detail on the finished model.

The low, boxy StuG-based hull is captured with fine slide-moulded surface detail, and the kit includes decals for period-accurate German assault gun unit markings.
