About this kit
The Sd.Kfz. 251/10 Ausf. D was a specialised variant of Germany's ubiquitous "Hanomag" half-track, built to keep pace with Panzergrenadier infantry while providing an immediate anti-tank capability. In place of the usual machine gun mount, it carried a 3.7cm PaK 36 gun fixed to the forward superstructure, and was typically issued as the mount for platoon and company commanders within mechanised infantry units.
Dragon's 1/72 kit reproduces the sloped, angular Ausf. D hull - simplified from earlier variants for faster wartime production - along with the distinctive shielded PaK 36 mount, in crisply moulded, slide-tooled parts scaled down without losing the vehicle's key recognition features.
The kit includes decals for accurate German markings alongside full assembly instructions.
A useful companion piece for building out a 1/72 Panzergrenadier support column alongside troop-carrying half-tracks and armour.
