Dragon Warships - U.S.S. Arizona Bb-39 With Type 97 "Kate" Carrier Bomber - D7127

USS Arizona (BB-39), a Pennsylvania-class battleship, is forever associated with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor of 7 December 1941, when a bomb detonated her forward ammunition magazine and she sank with the loss of over 1,100 crew, becoming the centrepiece of the USS Arizona Memorial. This Dragon 1/700 kit pairs the battleship with a Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 carrier attack aircraft, known to the Allies by the reporting name "Kate," allowing modellers to recreate a moment from that pivotal attack.

Dragon's tooling renders Arizona's pre-war configuration in fine detail, including her tripod cage masts, casemate secondary guns and boat deck fittings, while the separately moulded Kate bomber is finished with its own delicate wing and undercarriage detail at matching 1/700 scale.

The set includes photo-etched railings and fine superstructure parts along with decals for hull markings and aircraft insignia, giving builders the parts needed for both a standalone ship model and a small diorama vignette.
