USS Arthur W. Radford (DD-968) was a Spruance-class destroyer of the US Navy, commissioned in 1977 and named for the World War II carrier admiral who later served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; the Spruance class formed the backbone of the Navy's Cold War-era anti-submarine destroyer force before many hulls were later upgraded to carry Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Dragon's 1/700 kit reproduces the Spruance hull's distinctive low, angular superstructure, twin funnels and helicopter hangar with fine slide-moulded detail, capturing the class's purposeful late-Cold War silhouette in a compact scale.

The kit includes a display stand and decals for hull numbers and deck markings, suitable for a full-hull or waterline build.

A solid addition for anyone assembling a modern US Navy destroyer fleet or a Cold War-era surface action group.
