About this kit
The Sd.Kfz.234/2 "Puma" was the most heavily armed of Germany's late-war eight-wheeled armoured cars, mounting a 5cm KwK39/1 L/60 gun in a fully rotating turret that gave reconnaissance units genuine punch against enemy armoured cars and light tanks. Fast, well-sloped and capable of both front- and rear-facing driving, the Puma served on every front from Normandy to the Eastern Front as one of the Wehrmacht's premier armoured reconnaissance vehicles.
This 2024 Upgrade Version reworks Dragon's Puma tooling with corrected hull proportions, refined turret shape and sharper surface detail compared to earlier releases, alongside improved wheel and tyre detail for the vehicle's distinctive eight-wheel-drive running gear. Slide-mould construction delivers a crisp, hollow main gun barrel and cleanly moulded turret castings.
The kit includes new decal options and the instruction set needed to complete the eight-wheeled hull, rotating turret and running gear as an accurate, up-to-date Puma.
Ideal for modellers who already own an older Puma kit and want the benefit of Dragon's revised tooling, as well as newcomers wanting the most accurate 1/35 Puma currently available.
