Dragon 1/35 Military - Chinese Volunteer Dshk Aa Team - D6809

This figure and weapons set depicts a Chinese People's Volunteer Army anti-aircraft machine gun team operating a Soviet-supplied DShK 12.7mm heavy machine gun on its wheeled anti-aircraft mount. DShK teams provided vital low-level air defence for CPVA columns and supply lines against UN air power during the Korean War, a constant threat to Chinese forces moving by day.

Dragon's kit combines a detailed DShK gun and mount with multiple crew figures posed serving the weapon, sculpted in the padded winter uniforms characteristic of Chinese Volunteer troops. The DShK model itself features finely moulded cooling jacket, ammunition belt and sight detail true to the real weapon.

Decals and an instruction manual are included to help finish the crew figures and weapon markings.

This set is ideal for adding an anti-aircraft vignette to a Korean War diorama, giving modellers a distinctive support-weapon subject rarely covered by other manufacturers.
