About this kit

This figure set depicts soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPVA), the force that entered the Korean War in October 1950 and fought United Nations troops through brutal winter campaigns including the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. Chinese Volunteer infantry were known for their light equipment, quilted cotton winter uniforms, and mass infiltration tactics that caught UN forces by surprise.

Dragon's sculptors have captured the distinctive padded winter jackets, fur-lined caps and improvised gear typical of CPVA troops, with figures posed in dynamic combat stances carrying period small arms such as the PPSh-41 submachine gun and Mosin-Nagant rifles. Crisp, finely moulded detail on faces, hands and equipment reflects Dragon's modern figure-sculpting standard.

The set includes multiple poses on the sprue along with an instruction manual for assembly and painting guidance.

A valuable addition for any Korean War diorama builder wanting to populate a winter battlefield scene with accurately equipped Chinese Volunteer infantry.
