About this kit
The Sd.Kfz.234/4 was the tank-destroyer member of Germany's eight-wheeled heavy armoured car family, best known for the Puma reconnaissance version. Introduced in late 1944 as Germany's armoured reserves dwindled, it mounted a powerful 7.5cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun in an open-topped superstructure, turning a fast reconnaissance chassis into an improvised but effective tank hunter for the war's final months.
Dragon's kit puts its slide-mould technology to work on the 234 series' complex angled hull panels and independent eight-wheel suspension, both notoriously difficult to reproduce accurately in styrene. The open fighting compartment reveals the PaK 40's breech, gun shield and ammunition stowage in full detail.
Decals and photo-etched parts are included for late-war German unit markings and stowage fittings, rounding out a busy, detail-rich build.
This kit suits modellers who want a distinctive late-war German armoured car subject with genuine anti-tank firepower, and it displays well alongside Dragon's other 234-series releases.
