About this kit
The Tiger I remains one of the most feared tanks of the Second World War, its 8.8cm KwK 36 gun and heavy frontal armour giving it a fearsome reputation from its combat debut in 1942 through to the war's final battles. This release focuses on an early production example still serving into 1944, complete with the original cylindrical commander's cupola, early-pattern road wheel arrangement and other detail features that distinguished the first Tiger I batches from later mid and late production changes.
Dragon's 1/35 tooling reproduces the vehicle's boxy hull and turret with crisp weld seams, a slide-moulded single-piece gun barrel, and finely detailed running gear, giving builders an accurate platform straight from the box. This particular boxing is marked "Fig Excl" - figure excluded - so the kit is focused purely on the vehicle itself for modellers who already have a figure collection or prefer an unmanned display.
Workable track links and a comprehensive decal sheet allow the completed model to be finished in a range of authentic Panzerwaffe markings.
A great choice for armour enthusiasts wanting a highly detailed Tiger I without needing to build or paint an included crew figure.
