"Defense of the Reich" is a 1/35 scale Dragon figure set portraying German troops in the final, desperate months of the war in 1945, as makeshift and depleted units were thrown into the defence of German territory against the advancing Allied and Soviet armies.
The figures are sculpted in the mixed late-war clothing and equipment typical of the period — a blend of standard-issue Wehrmacht gear with the improvisation that characterised the last stand on German soil — giving the set an authentic, gritty character distinct from earlier-war figure releases.
Supplied as multi-part grey styrene figures with separate weapons and equipment, a decal sheet, and instructions, the set allows a small squad-sized scene to be assembled straight from the box.
