This 1/35 scale Dragon figure set depicts tank and artillery crewmen of the Deutsches Afrikakorps, the German expeditionary force that fought alongside the Italians across Libya and Egypt from 1941 to 1943 under Erwin Rommel. The figures wear the distinctive lightweight tropical uniform and sun helmets or field caps associated with the desert campaign.
Individually sculpted poses cover both panzer crew, shown in typical tropical overalls, and artillery crew serving a field or anti-tank gun, giving modellers a varied group of figures for a North African vignette rather than a single repeated pose.
The set is moulded in grey styrene with separate small arms and personal equipment, a decal sheet, and full assembly instructions.
