About this kit
The Sd.Kfz.10/5 paired the light Demag D7 half-track with the 2cm Flak 38 automatic cannon, giving German armoured and motorised units a fast, mobile anti-aircraft platform that could keep pace with the panzer columns it protected and could also be levelled against ground targets in an emergency.
Dragon's 1/35 rendition uses slide-mould parts to capture the D7 chassis's distinctive short-track running gear and open-topped crew compartment, together with a finely detailed 2cm Flak 38 featuring a workable gun cradle, ammunition drum and folding gun shield.
The kit includes crew stowage detail, a decal sheet for Luftwaffe or Heer flak unit markings, and full instructions for assembling both the half-track and its gun.
A compact but characterful subject, it makes an excellent addition to any German armoured column diorama or as a standalone build for collectors of Wehrmacht soft-skin and flak vehicles.
