This 1/35 scale figure set from Dragon depicts four German tank crewmen of Panzer-Regiment 7, the armoured spearhead of the 10. Panzer-Division, during the ferocious fighting around Smolensk in July and August 1941. As part of Panzergruppe Guderian's drive deep into the Soviet Union in the opening weeks of Operation Barbarossa, the division's Panzer III and IV crews fought through the vast Smolensk encirclement that trapped several Red Army armies.

Each figure is individually sculpted with crisp fabric folds on the black Panzer wrap tunic, separate field caps and equipment, capturing the distinctive look of early-war German armoured crewmen. Dragon's fine-detail injection moulding renders faces, hands and webbing with a level of realism that rewards careful brush painting and weathering.
